Join us on an immersive day hike to Chhirkey Bhanjyang, nestled in Ward No. 6 of Bethanchowk Rural Municipality, where the vibrant cultures of the Newar and Tamang communities thrive in harmony. This picturesque trail offers an incredible blend of lush greenery, agricultural landscapes, cultural encounters, and panoramic views.

🌿 Hike Overview:

Our journey begins at Kyaku Baltali, a serene starting point surrounded by greenery year-round thanks to three cycles of plantations annually. As we ascend, we make our way to the Shree Bhakta Multiple Agricultural Farm, a hub of sustainable farming practices and scenic terraces.

🍃 Nature Meets Community:

Descending towards the Irrigation Canal System, we reach the charming Korthali Village, where we’ll pause for a 20-minute snack break. This village is a perfect spot to witness community-based farming and the simplicity of rural life.

🥾 Cultural Trail to Chhirkey Bhanjyang:

After enjoying breakfast by the tranquil Ladku Khola, we continue our hike up to the peaceful Chhirkey Bhanjyang. This ridge offers breathtaking views of farmlands, blooming seasonal flowers, and scenes of locals working together in the fields. Near a local school, we’ll take a break for lunch while soaking in the warm village atmosphere.

🌄 Final Ascent and Scenic Descent:

Post lunch, the trail leads us to Lukuwa Danda, a beautiful vantage point with panoramic views of the mid-hills and surrounding villages. The descent takes us toward the Balthali Eco Hill, followed by a gentle walk down to Ladkhu Khola. We then cross the suspension bridge and head back to Balthali village, a tranquil riverside hamlet. The final stretch of our hike involves crossing two more suspension bridges over Roshi Khola and another tributary, marking the end of our scenic and fulfilling journey at Khopasi.
