Day to Day Itinerary

You will embark on an early morning scenic flight from Kathmandu to the airstrip in Lukla. Lukla serves as the entrance to Khumbu and the vast Everest region. Once in Lukla, your journey begins with a trek towards the east, leading us into dense forests situated below the Kalo Himal Ridge. While on this path, various trails branch off from the main route, so it is advisable to stay with the group until we reach Chhutang.

An alternative is to drive from Kathmandu to Mantali airport early in the morning, where you can take a 20-minute flight to Lukla. It's important to note that in order to catch the morning flight to Lukla, it will be necessary to leave Kathmandu in the wee hours of the night, around 1 AM, to arrive at Ramechhap.

Departing from Chhutang, you will progress along the path that inclines gradually and then steepens as you make your way towards the crossing of Zatrawala Pass at an elevation of 4600 meters. Your challenging ascent to the pass's summit offers breathtaking views of Numbur Himal, Kongdi Ri, Karyolang Peak, and the neighboring peaks. Following this, your trek continues along relatively flat terrain for approximately two hours before descending steadily to Tuli Kharka.

The trail from Thuli Kharka offers a blend of uphill and downhill trekking through a dense forest bursting with rhododendrons, oak, pine, and juniper trees.
