Upon your arrival at Kathmandu Airport, a team from Sherpa Eco Adventure will be there to greet you and ensure a smooth and hassle-free transfer to your hotel. After checking in, you can relax and unwind in your room after your long journey. The Sherpa Eco Adventure team, including the guides for your expedition, will formally welcome you later during a dinner at the hotel.

Today is entirely dedicated to preparing for your long expedition to Lobuche Peak. You will attend a trip briefing to learn all the details of the itinerary and meet your trekking and mountaineering guide. During this meeting, your guide will provide clear information about the necessary climbing gear for the Lobuche Peak ascent. Afterwards, you will have time to explore the shopping areas to purchase any essential items before your flight to Lukla the following day.

The day has finally arrived to embark on your journey to Lobuche Peak in the Khumbu (Everest) region. You'll board a flight that takes just 40 minutes to reach Lukla. During the scenic flight, you'll have breathtaking views of the entire Himalayas from your window. Upon arrival at Tenzing Hillary Airport (2840 m) in Lukla, the local community will warmly welcome you to the gateway of Everest.

After a brief rest in Lukla, you will set off through the woods towards Phakding. The trail follows alongside the Dudh Koshi River, passing several charming settlements. You'll encounter a beautifully painted Mani wall at the bank of the Dudh Koshi River and traverse through forests of rhododendrons and pines. The path includes a series of gentle ascents and descents, leading you to your destination in Phakding.

Your first day has gone well, and now it's time for another exhilarating trekking day. Today, you will make your way to the hub of the Everest region, Namche Bazaar (3,446 m). As you trek, you'll cross numerous suspension bridges adorned with prayer flags and pass by gompas. Leaving Phakding behind, you'll follow scenic trails through the heart of the Everest region, with each step adding to the enjoyment of the journey.

On the way, you'll traverse key Sherpa settlements such as Bengar and Monjo. Monjo village marks the entrance to the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Sagarmatha National Park.

A few kilometers before reaching Namche, you'll catch your first glimpses of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, and other towering peaks of the Khumbu region. The trek involves several ascents and descents, culminating in a final climb to Namche Bazaar. Known as the bustling center of the Khumbu region, Namche offers plenty to explore upon your arrival.

Heading directly to higher altitudes without acclimating increases the risk of altitude sickness. Therefore, it is advisable to stay around Namche before ascending towards Lobuche Peak. On this day, you will spend time hiking in and around Namche and exploring nearby attractions.

Today marks the beginning of your adaptation to the higher altitude, allowing your body to adjust to the increased elevation. While complete rest may not be the main focus, you will embark on a trek to the Everest View Hotel, situated at 3,880 meters. This trek provides an excellent opportunity for altitude acclimatization before moving on to your next destination. The journey continues as you explore the charming Khumjung Village, home to the Sherpa people. After these enriching experiences, you will descend to Kyangjuma for a well-deserved night of rest.

After an enchanting stay in Namche, it's time to embark on the journey to Debuche. The trek begins with a descent through Namche towards Phunki Tenga, offering stunning views of snow-capped mountains, including Everest and Ama Dablam. After several hours of gentle downhill trekking, you'll arrive at Phunki Tenga. Continuing onward, you will soon catch sight of the magnificent Tengboche Monastery, the largest in the region.

This revered monastery bestows blessings on every adventurer passing through Tengboche. Adorned with vibrant prayer flags and wheels, the monastery offers breathtaking views of northern peaks such as Everest, Lobuche, Thamserku, and Ama Dablam. Additionally, you can immerse yourself in the rich culture of one of the largest Sherpa communities. The day concludes with a stay in Debuche.

You’ll wake up with morning prayers from the Tengboche monastery, and what a blissful morning that will be. After breakfast, you will kick-off the trails to reach Dingboche. The trek will be through lush trees of rhododendron and conifers, along with mountain views in the distance. Following the forest, you will descend to reach the river bed of Imja Khola. And trekking over the Imja Khola via a bridge, you head up a slope trail that takes you to the Pangboche.

You will take a break to explore the Pangboche village, which also has the famous Pangboche Monastery. From the village, you will get visions of various Everest region mountains. A day of rest is well-deserved. Instead of hiking the main trail, we'll stay back at the village and relax. To make the day productive and acclimatize, we'll take a trip to Nagarjun.

Acclimatization involves walking higher and sleeping lower. So after breakfast, we'll set out for a trek to Nagarjun Peak. The trek begins with an ascent up steep hills with rocks and boulders, making it a bit challenging.

After hiking for 2–3 hours, we'll reach Nagakarsang, a major tourist attraction in the Sherpa Valley. From there, we'll enjoy magnificent views of lofty mountains, steep-sided valleys, and rocky hills. Below the peak lies a small settlement, primarily consisting of lodges and guest houses for hikers.

We'll then return to the trail and descend back to the village. On the way, we'll pass numerous ancient Tibetan monasteries and chortens, which are stunning. We'll spend the night in the same tea house.

You'll start the 8th trekking day of your Lobuche Peak Climbing Expedition with the goal of reaching Lobuche before nightfall. Now, at altitudes around 5,000 m, this part of the trek can be more challenging than the previous sections. You will traverse a rough and steep trail to arrive at Duglha. Another steep ascent takes you toward Chuki Lahara.

From Lahara, you will enjoy walking past memorial stupas dedicated to the fallen climbers. Next, you will trek over the moraines of the Khumbu Glacier to reach Lobuche village. This village is the closest settlement to Lobuche Peak, offering views of several high peaks, including Lobuche Peak itself.

After breakfast, our journey continues across flat meadows. Shortly after, we head northward along the Khumbu Glacier. Climbing onto the lateral moraine, we arrive at Gorak Shep. Along the way, we enjoy panoramic views of snow-clad peaks and the Khumbu Glacier itself. After lunch, we head towards Everest Base Camp, leaving our backpacks behind. Gradually walking upward via the moraine of the Khumbu Glacier, we reach our most awaited destination—EBC.

Here, we are treated to vivid panoramic views of Mount Khumbutse, Mount Pumori, and Mount Nuptse, with Mount Everest in the background. Standing here, trekkers experience a mix of emotions, realizing a dream has come true.

With the mesmerizing view of the Khumbu Icefall, we captured some charming scenes around us. After spending some time at the base of the world's tallest peak, we return to Gorakshep.

This marks the day you embark on your journey to Lobuche Peak. Our first destination is Kalapatthar, standing at 5555 meters above sea level. The ascent typically takes around two hours, offering unparalleled vistas of Mt. Everest, Lotse, and Noptse. Your goal is to arrive at Lobuche Base Camp promptly.

Descending from Kalapatthar, the trail to Gorakshep-Lobuche Base Camp is rugged and steep, requiring careful navigation. You'll persevere under the guidance of your expedition leader. You'll pass by the glacier that Lobuche Peak created along the way, which offers breathtaking mountain views above the icy terrain.

After a 5- to 6-hour trek from Gorakshep, you'll finally arrive at Lobuche Base Camp. With no teahouses beyond Lobuche village, it's time to pitch our tents for the night. Your support team will assist in setting up camp, marking the beginning of evenings under a canopy of billions of stars.

Departing from Base Camp, you'll progress nearer to the Lobuche summit by advancing to Lobuche High Camp. You'll notice a change in the trail's terrain along the way, with more steepness and ruggedness. Although the trek typically spans 3 to 4 hours, the incline prolongs the journey. Your team will set up a tent for your relaxation.

Later in the afternoon, your climbing guide will impart essential climbing skills and provide insights into gear usage, ensuring your readiness for tomorrow's ascent of Lobuche Peak. Following this, ample rest post-lunch is advised, as an early start awaits you the next morning.

Today marks the fulfillment of the primary objective: ascending Lobuche Peak. Breakfast will be expedited to facilitate an early start, necessary for tackling the southern ridge's steep and icy terrain. Utilizing ropes, crampons, and ice axes, you'll navigate the technical sections with the guidance of your expert. Upon conquering the final ascent, a 45-degree slope, the summit of Lobuche East awaits.

The breathtaking view of the Everest region will increase the triumph of success in your heart. The encompassing view reinforces the journey's value, validating every exertion. Following a memorable summit experience, descent towards the peak's high camp commences. Evaluating our physical condition, we trek towards Phiriche, reflecting on the journey's challenges and rewards.
